Andrea Sofía Chao

A graduate in Tourism and Business Management from IE Business School, she began her career in the hotel industry while studying law at the University of Salamanca. Throughout her career, she has managed operations in cities such as Miami, New York and Paris, standing out for her ability to lead teams and face crises, such as the one experienced in Istanbul between 2015 and 2017.

In 2021, Andrea joined The Social Hub, where she has played a key role in the brand positioning strategy in Madrid. Under her leadership, The Social Hub Madrid has integrated housing, coworking and cultural events, becoming a benchmark for innovation, inclusion and empowerment. She has fostered partnerships with UN Women Spain and Warner Music, and has developed programming focused on culture, wellness and education. As a leader, Andrea seeks to create inclusive spaces for diverse communities and foster collaboration between entrepreneurs, students and talented women.
